Category: Studio Tidbits

So the 24 hour comic making dash has come to a close. We thought we'd both share some thoughts on the process...

Comic Dash - 2 HOURS REMAINING

Category: Studio Tidbits

2 hours remain. This is... not a place you want to be right now. Insanity has taken hold and refuses to let go. I just mistook my glass of scotch for my mug of coke and took a gigantic swig. Hilarity ensued. God, if you're listening, give us the strength to keep drawing. Adam: 15/24, Matt: 20/24.

Comic Dash - 4 hrs to go!!!!

Category: Studio Tidbits

Dear Journal,

Body is giving out now, it's been a hard slog of a day. I'm currently at page 15/24 and Adam at 12/24. We're both lagging behind. Thankfully, there is still plenty of scotch.

Back and shoulders are weakening at this point, and there is still so many pages to go. Dear god, what have we gotten to ourselves into?!

-Love Matt

Comic Dash - 9hrs to go!

Category: Studio Tidbits

Ok, We've both slept under 6 hours and are trying to keep it together. Its looking hard now. 2 pages per hour to get this done. Its gonna be a stretch. I've finished 7 pages, Adam just started his 7th. We'll keep going till all 24 pages are done though. God speed!

Comic Dash - 3hrs in

Category: Studio Tidbits

Hey all,

3 Hours in and I'm already crashing. Adam is going strong mentally, but I feel I've made more progress....? Basically I've just finished the storyboards for all 24 pages, Adams done 12 so far and has started working on page 1 already. We've also had 2 scotches, 1 coke and 1 pizza each. So far spontaneous dancing is a requirement for creativity.

Here's some photos!

Welcome to our New Site!

Category: Studio Tidbits

I hear that web devs often have the problem of never actually finishing their own websites, the same way architects are always living in half-constructed houses. Well, no more! A friend recently told Matt that the trick is to put up just the bare minimum and worry about the rest later, so here it is: the bare minimum.

Feel free to look around and if you find anything working the way it shouldn't or just not working at all, let me know. We're still ironing out some of the kinks.

Grant Application Support

Would you be interested in playing a procedurally generated zombie survival game? With online multiplayer and user-generated content that YOU can contribute to?

Because I sure would!

If you answered yes to that question, then we would like to ask for your support. All we need from you is a small portion of your time and a letter, not even any of your hard earned dollars. If that doesn’t sound too out of the way, please read on.

Fat Stacks

Category: Studio Tidbits

So I picked up our new business cards yesterday. They printed a little darker than I’d have liked, but for what we paid we can’t really complain (some might call us cheap, but we prefer the term ‘frugal’).

Here’s a look at the original design and how they turned out:

I hope everyone is wearing their business socks...

Category: Studio Tidbits

Because it’s BUSINESS TIME here at 2 Hit. With March’s Bits & Pieces event only a week away, we’ve been busy designing business cards, slapping logos on T-shirts and dusting off our social skills in preparation for Fatal Theory’s maiden voyage into the public arena.
